Note added since being taken to his Forever Home: Pictures of Murphy with his new family
"Wrangler" was turned into the Greene County Humane Society in January 2009 and Animal Friends immediately took him since they were there on that very same day. His first owners surrendered him because of his high energy level which now that he has been neutered hopefully that will help to settle him down. He was purchased from a woman breeding Irish in the Masontown, PA area.- and their intention was to breed him to their female but since they had two young children this poor boy ended up living his two years of life outside tied to a dog box where he became very destructive, chewed up everything he could get his mouth on and jumped on the children. Animal Friends has tried placing him twice and got him back because of his high energy level and failure to behave inside the house - both complaints were that he is like owning a Jack Russell.
