Dan joined was a member, along with his wife, Tally, for 6 years. His love for the outdoors enhanced his enjoyment of hanging out at club events and specialty weekends. He was always eager to help out. Following Dan's death, 6 days later, their beloved Irish Setter, "Glory", joined him at the bridge.

The last founding member of Golden Triangle Irish Setter Club. O'Dorsey Kennels began in 1966 with Irish Setters then eventually English Cockers. She also ran a boarding kennel and was known back in the day as a professional handler. Current members found Ruth a wealth of historical information. Her humor, kindness and willing to help is missed by all.

Lori owned and loved Irish Setters beginning back in the early 80's . Originally from Butler, Lori lived in FL and AZ where she was active in Irish Setter Rescue. Lori began showing her Irish Setters in more recent years. She leaves behind her husband, Lee, and Irish Setters Ally and Carlee. Lori was a member of the Irish Setter Club of AZ, Irish Setter Club of America and Golden Triangle Irish Setter Club. Lori's friendship and kind heart is greatly missed.

Shirley was an Irish Setter owner since 1984. She was an active working member of the Golden Triangle Irish Setter Club. She loved her many setters over the years, spoiling all of them. She was originally from Weirton, WV and moved to Moon Township, PA in 1984. She is survived by her husband Bob, and her two daughters; Emily and Holly. She promoted and supported her two daughters in the conformation show ring. She is sadly missed by her family and many friends.

May 16, 1953 - March 28, 2010

Sue was a special friend to many. She loved her Irish Setters. She loved the Breed. Sue fought a tough battle with courage. She looked forward to club events when she was able to attend. She managed to come to our specialty shows the past two years and sat ringside helping out. No matter how she felt, the exhaustion apparent, her smile shined through. Unable to attend our Thanksgiving Dinner this past November, she told us she was coming to the Christmas Dinner no matter what. She was able to attend. She felt good and looked good. Little did we know it would be the last time we were all together. Almost every member was able to attend. It was a wonderful evening of friends, food and fun. Sue's smile and laughter will live on in our memories. Her generosity continues as she had asked that in lieu of flowers, to please send donations to Golden Triangle in her memory. The members of GTISC will be forever grateful and hold Sue and what she believed in deep within our hearts. May the shamrocks fall softly on our dear friend....

Puppy-clumsy, running free.

As you grew, we grew together --

You became a part of me.

Because you shared with me my sorrows,

Not understanding- simply there.

Often spurring me to laughter --

My friend, you know how much I care.

Because the years have slowed your fleetness,
